gemelo Kiosk turns Android tablets into a terminal that stays with your application: no home screen, no settings, no stray browser. You set up a device with a QR code – and manage all of them from your desk.
The device stays where it belongs
The kiosk app runs as device owner – which puts Android into a genuinely locked mode: visitors only ever see your application. Home, back and notifications are off, and the power menu too if you want it. Your staff get a hidden way out with a PIN.
Setting up takes minutes
Unpack the tablet, scan the QR code on first start – done. Wi-Fi, server address, project and PIN are all in the code. No cable, no laptop, no handling every single device.
Change things without driving there
A different website, a new app version, another PIN, a longer countdown: you change it in the management console and the device picks it up by itself. Restarting works the same way – even if the exhibition is 500 km away.

Live in three steps
Scan the QR code
The management console creates one provisioning code per project. Scan it when the tablet first starts – the device connects to the Wi-Fi, installs the kiosk app and reports in to the right project.
Assign an application
You choose what should run: your own Android app as an APK, a website in full screen with the rules you set for it – or simply a film. The device downloads it and starts it automatically from then on.
Look after it remotely
Every device reports its condition, its version and anything unusual. You set the settings once for the project – and deviate from them wherever a single device needs it.

A full MDM
The app runs as device owner – Android’s highest management role. Applications, system settings, updates, certificates: control over the device is yours.
A real kiosk mode
Not just full screen: Android itself holds on to the application. Volume keys can be locked individually, the power menu device-wide if you like.
Provisioning by QR
One code carries Wi-Fi, server address, project and start PIN. Ten devices for the same exhibition are the same single move, ten times.
Settings that are inherited
What applies to the exhibition sits on the project. What a single device needs differently sits on the device – and overrides the project.
Condition at a glance
The devices report in regularly: status, app version, log. From your desk you can see which terminal is no longer there.
Power and temperature
Every report brings the charge level, the power supply and the battery temperature with it. A mounted tablet always sits at 100 % – if the figure drops, the battery is not empty, the power is gone.
Updates itself
Upload a new version of the kiosk app or of your application – the devices fetch it. Nobody has to take a tablet out of its case.
Wi-Fi and offline
Wi-Fi credentials sit on the project and travel to every device with the QR code. If the network fails, the terminal starts anyway.
Step in from afar
Restart a single device or the whole exhibition. And a ping that makes exactly one device beep and flash – so you can find the right one among twelve tablets.
